I'm 20 years old, and over the last two years I've pulled $650K in trading payouts from a process my parents didn't even know existed.
Here's how it all started.
I was 17, doing community service for college applications, painting fences at a local park. My friend next to me was holding a brush in one hand and his phone in the other, staring at candlesticks. He showed me his P&L. He'd just made a few grand on Nasdaq.
The second I realised you could make money from your phone, I was hooked.
At the time I had a Saturday job reffing basketball games for $160 a week. I worked every weekend for a year, saved up around $5K, and blew every dollar of it in a single month buying evaluations and revenge trading them the second they went red.
By December 2023 I had $50 in my bank, $2K of credit card debt at 18, and was waking up at 6:30am to sneak into my high school bathroom and trade before class so my strict immigrant parents wouldn't find out.
Then in January 2024 I got my first $1K payout. Paid off the credit card. Sat there realising this was actually real.
What followed was a year of finding my rhythm. 10K months, then 20K, then 30K. By February 2025 I'd hit my biggest month ever — $50K at 19.
Then in March 2025 I broke every rule I had in the back of my college programming class and watched $75,000 in profits disappear before lunch. I stared at a wall for a week.
But quitting never crossed my mind.
I came back in April. From June to August I pulled $125K. Closed out 2025 with $400K in payouts at 19 and dropped out of college despite my parents being furious. In March 2026 I had my biggest month yet at $90K profit and was 3rd on the Topstep leaderboard.
Today I live in my dream high-rise in Dallas and day trade full-time. Throughout the journey I documented every win and loss on YouTube.
